leading the next generation

We believe in partnering with you to ensure that your child knows they are valued, they are loved, and they are wonderfully made by God. When children learn who God really is and embrace Biblical truths in their hearts, the stage will be set for Him to work in them for the rest of their lives.

faith | prayer | serve

At Sanctuary, we view children's ministry as so much more than childcare for parents while they go to church - Sanctuary Kids (SK) is itself a ministry. In SK, we have the privilege of building foundations of faith for God's children. We value prayer by name from the youngest to the oldest, and we value teaching that emphasizes who God is rather than how to be "a good person." We love being a part of what God is doing in the hearts of our children! Our hope is that our ministry to God's kids will help shape God-centered children who will know and respond to Jesus Christ, ultimately growing into whole-hearted Jesus Followers who will glorify Him and build His Kingdom.

FAQ's

what can i expect when i arrive on sundays?

All kids, infants-5th grade, come to the SK Registration Desk to check in. One of our greeters can point the way. Infants-PreK then go directly to their small groups. Kindergarten-5th graders will attend worship with their families for all Sunday gatherings. After worship,  kids are  prayed over and dismissed to their small groups. After the gathering, parents will pick up kids from small group classrooms by presenting their parent tag.

How do I check-in my child?

Each child should be checked in via one of our registration kiosks. Our SK greeting team will walk you through the quick process, and you will receive a tag for your child and a corresponding parent tag. The tag can go on the diaper bag or on the car seat for infants to toddlers. Should we need to contact you during the gathering, the number on your tag will show up on the screens in the auditorium.

You can pre-register your family by filling out our New Family Registration Form.

Who will be taking care of my child?

All our leaders have a current background check, have been thoroughly trained, and serve every other week. They are chosen for their ability to love and care for our kids well. Many of our leaders have been serving with the same small group for more than 5 years!

what about baby dedications?

At Sanctuary, we host a Family Dedication and Impressions parenting class in the fall and spring. Family dedication is an important part of our commitment to be fully dependent on Jesus as we "train up a child in the way they should go" and of our partnership with you on your parenting journey. Our parenting class is designed to encourage, equip, and affirm you as you teach your children at home.

What is sanctuary kids' wellness policy?

To create a safe, healthy environment for our kids, we ask each family to comply with a few health guidelines. A good reference is if your school or daycare requires your child(ren) to stay home, we ask that you apply that rule for Sanctuary as well. For more details, see our Wellness Policy.
